Hello everyone and welcome to the very last chapter of Once Upon a Thyme! It's a bit longer than my usual chapters, I had originally planned on splitting it but decided against it. So without further adieu, let's get started!

Desiree has completed the Bodybuilder aspiration! Man, she's just cranking these out. I gave her Nerd Brain as the next aspiration, because they have a few things in the house that are new that I'd like to upgrade fully.



Chicory has completed the Whiz Kid aspiration. Next, she'll work on Artistic Prodigy, but it's her birthday Tomorrow so I doubt she'll be able to complete it.



It's time for Chicory to become a teenager! Man, how time flies! Though, sometimes it has felt like crawling by because I'm so excited for the end of this legacy.



She aged into an interesting outfit while Donald photobombs her with a pile of trash.



She looks much better after a make-over, but she's not nearly as pretty as her big sister Cinnamon.



I really like this outfit, though I feel like it makes her look like a teacher. Of course, I'm totally okay with that since I'm going to school to be an elementary school teacher.

Speaking of, I think it'd be cool if there was one of those jobs that you go along with your sim to work and it was a teacher position. That would be neat.



Because I have painting as one of the 'good' actions in the club, and I've been leaving them in a club gathering all the time, the whole house has become obsessessed with painting.



So I had tabbed down to the basement, and I saw Oregano just standing there and he didn't look like a ghost so I was really confused. But then when he went to move he started floating away. I guess his ghost was just glitched.



Right after finishing a painting, Cinnamon started telling herself a story and I managed to pause the game and catch this face.



She's completed her Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. I gave her successful lineage as her next aspiration. Of course, I forgot about a few milestones in it requiring teens/young adults so that won't be happening.



I don't think I mentioned it before, but Desiree joined the family at level 5 of the astronaut career. I sent her down the opposite path of Daryl so she could unlock the other rocket.



I don't know if this is a normal thing or just because they were in a club gathering together, but I was able to get three sims working on building the rocket together.



It's time for the youngest child of generation nine to become a teenager!



It's amusing to me that all three kids grew up into short hair.



Cassia aged really nicely actually. I think she's prettier than Chicory for sure.



Plus, I really like her outfit.



Despite the fact that they all have the same hair color, there's still a lot of diversity with them, which I really like.



That same night, it's also Desiree's adult birthday.



She looks pretty much the same. I don't even see any wrinkles on her face.



I decided to try eating out again, this time at a diner. It was a much better experience, but for some reason I only took the one picture.



So if you guys weren't aware, reaching level 3 of a teen career also counts toward the reach level 3 of any career for renaissance sim.



After harvesting the plants and selling them again, Ginseng has completed the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration. I gave him Painter Extraordinaire because he's become obsessed with painting lately and already has maximum points in the skill.



Since everything in the house has it's lower level upgrades, and the ghosts aren't currently breaking stuff, I had to buy three simple sinks for Desiree to upgrade the remaining three objects for her aspiration.

Next, she's going to work on Renaissance Sim.



All three of the teenagers are working out together in the small gym area of the basement.



Oregano's ghost is working properly now, but I find it amusing that he's smiling while taking the trash out because when he was live that grossed him out. He also possessed the trash can afterward, which I don't think squeamish ghosts should do.



I'm not sure if it's normal for them to box wearing their original clothes or not, but it's amusing to me to watch Chicory box in her nice sweater and dress.



And now, the birthday we've all been waiting for, Cinnamon is becoming a young adult!



She looks so much like her mother, it's crazy. She added snob to her list of traits, and is now ready to get married and bring in generation ten of this legacy!



I sent her to the park to wish for romance, hoping maybe he'd just drop a random sim down. But, he just gave me a buff and it unfortunately wore off before she was able to meet someone.



However, after hours of scoping this handsome guy walked buy and I spammed friendly and romantic interactions until they could share their first kiss and he could move in.



I decided to keep his hair and facial hair, because I thought it suit him. I changed his clothes, but kept the pink and white color scheme he had going on.



When their relationship was high enough, I had them get engaged pretty much immediately. I don't want to waste any time in getting this last generation out!



These two are really cute though, and I like that the last generation has the potential of having the same hair color as the founder of the legacy.



Naturally, being the impatient simmer that I am, I had them elope immediately.



Cinnamon got pregnant the first time they tried for a baby! The final generation is officially on the way!



As is typical of male sims, Chance doesn't seem very happy about the pregnancy. I'm honestly considering not even including this part of the pregnancy process in my future legacy, because this particular interaction really irritates me because not all men are upset about pregnancies. I really think it should be based on traits and aspirations.



I also don't understand why even when they act happy, they act sad first. That makes no sense to me either. Come on Maxis, patch this.



I decided to give Cinnamon a tattoo since you could see it where her shirt was low in the back.



Ginseng has reached the top of the Comedy branch of the Entertainment career.



This chess match must have been super interesting because everyone in the house, except for Ginseng who was painting, came to watch Chance and Cinnamon play chess.



Desiree has completed the Renaissance Sim aspiration! Her next aspiration is going to be Fabulously Wealthy because for the most part I barely have to do anything for that.



It's now time for Chicory to become a young adult! Don't mind Trinity just chilling in the floor in the background.



Chicory added dance machine to her list of traits, and aged up very nicely in my opinion.



Ginseng has completed the painter extraordinare aspiration. Next, he'll be working on Bodybuilder because he already has high fitness skill.



And the moment we've all been waiting for -- generation 10 is on the way!



And the baby who completes this legacy for us is a girl named Chia!

However, I am going to play it as a typical generation for the most part, so the chapter isn't finished yet, keep reading!



Since Cinnamon is no longer pregnant, I was able to move Chicory out and into her own home created by Maxis.



Chicory married one of the Maxis created sims that is in our gallery bin, Andre.



I was originally going to give him a make-over, but I felt that the way he looked matched his personality, so I left him be.



It wasn't long after they were married, that Chicory and Andre were expecting their first child.

They had a baby boy named Bleu, after bleu cheese because I'm really grasping at straws here.



Bleu is a very adorable little boy, but looks very typical of child boys regardles.



The family likes to enjoy time together in their pool during the day. I have no doubts they'll live happily ever after.



Meanwhile, back at the main house, Cinnamon is officially pregnant again!



This time, Chance reacted like this once he got over the whole sad face thing that they all do.



Cinnamon randomly decided to help her little sister with her homework on her own.



Cassia is now becoming a young adult!



Cassia aged wonderfully, and I really do think she's very pretty.



I decided to experiment with something. For his nerd brain aspiration, he has to fix or upgrade 5 objects. Well, just like before, the ghosts weren't breaking anything so I decided to test a theory.

Since Chance has the hot headed trait, I can direct him to smash the doll house and then repair it. So I did this five times and it worked for completing that step of the aspiration.

His next aspiration is Computer Whiz.



Sweet little Chia is becoming a child, and she decides to do a bit of acrobatics while she's at it.



She's very cute, I have to admit. She has a good mix of both parents in her genetics, and I think she'll age wonderfully when she becomes a teenager.



I really like her hair and her outfit as well, I think it's super cute.



Chia started autonomously rubbing her Mom's belly, and I thought it was the sweetest thing.



I can't believe it's already time for Ginseng to become an elder! Where has the time gone?



As an elder, Ginseng looks even more like his father.



Soon, Cinnamon is in labor with the second baby of generation ten.



It's another little girl, this one is named Nutmeg.

I also wanted to mention that both she and her sister were natural girls, I didn't use strawberries to get them.



Just like before, now that Cinnamon isn't pregnant I was able to move Cassia out and into a maxis created home.



Cassia fell in love with this beauty named Ashly, and they were married very quickly.



Ashly has an interesting spelling to her name, and a personality that would make the last few generations of Thyme kids proud.



It wasn't long before the couple found out they were expecting a child.

They had a baby boy named Chai!

Also, is it not possible to give birth to a sim with the darkest skintone possible? Because the babies always show up with the really dark skin, but then when they become kids they don't have that skintone. And I know it's not because babies only have two possible skintones, because I've seen several different ones. And I thought genetics in this game worked in the way that you got ONE of your parent's skins/eyes/hair colors/etc. and not a shade in between.



Chai aged nicely, and has a good mix of both parents genetics.



Cassia and Ashly supported knowledge in their home, and so they encouraged their son to play the piano and set an example by playing chess.



Back at home, Ginseng is being grossed out by the fish tank.

Also, I feel like his head is too small for his body now that he's reached maximum body potential.



There was no confetti this time, but Cinnamon is now pregnant for the last time.



Of course, Chance responded the same way as normal. Sigh.



I don't remember taking a picture of her completing Social Butterfly, but she did and now she's also completed Artistic Prodigy. Next is Whiz Kid.



Chance had quite a bit of his young adult bar filled when he moved in, so now he's celebrating his adult birthday!



He looks a little bit older, but he still looks handsome.



Her birthday wasn't for a few more days, but I went ahead and aged Desiree up now.

It looks like Chance is helping her blow out her candles.



She's still stunning, don't you think?



Nutmeg's childhood birhday has arrived!



She's really pretty, and I really like her blue eyes.



I think her dress is really cute too.



This is the most perfect picture ever guys. Our founder, Laurel, is hugging the child of generation ten that completed this legacy!



Time for the birth of the final baby of generation ten.



It's another girl! Meet baby girl Clary!

Out of curiosity, I used the random generator to see who the heiress would be if this weren't generation ten, and the winner was the first born Chia which I think is fitting since she completed the legacy.



I completely forgot the reasoning behind this picture, but Nutmeg's facial expression is too funny not to share.

I believe that she was giving someone this look while they were talking to her.



Chia has complete the Whiz Kid aspiration. Next, she'll work on Rambunctious Scamp.



Well, the last child is now a child.



Clary is super cute guys! I love her.



I know I've said this before, but I really need this outfit in my life.



Well guys, with all of the kids now children, I've decided to end this legacy here. It's been a great run, and I'm excited for my next legacy venture!

I did take the girls into CAS and age them up to teens though so you could get a better feel for their genetics, so scroll down for that.



In order of course, Chia, Nutmeg, and Clary. Chia is my favorite!
