Hello everyone and welcome back to Once Upon a Thyme! As you can see by the quick update, I've had quite a bit of time to sim, which is always nice! Plus, I'd like to try to complete this legacy before classes start in August. Then, I'll probably start a more slow moving legacy!

Oregano's lovely hot-headed trait is starting to shine through. Almost every day when he gets home from school, he's angry due to his trait. The first thing he does when he arrives home if he's angry is go upstairs and kick and punch Bun-Bun.



I actually did this on my husband's soulmate sim as well, but I gave Oregano some heart boxers for his underwear/pjs because I just thought it was fitting!



The bathroom in the basement is small since it's really only there for post-workout showers from when I was working on Bodybuilder for Daryl, but for some reason while Daryl was insta-upgrading the sink, Anise and Oregano thought it would be a fanastic idea to watch youtube videos.



So, Rue came home from work exhausted, and as you can see from this picture she made it into bed, where she could have slept comfortably, right?



Wrong, she decided to get out of bed to pass out on the floor because I guess the action queued just as she got to the bed.

It actually queued twice and she did this two times before going to bed. I hate that you can't cancel it when it's queued!



It's time for Clove to join her older brother in adulthood!



She aged nicely, but she definitely put on some weight. I assume it's due to her glutton trait.

Anyway, her adult trait is geek!



Since her weight made her croptop look a little weird, I had her use the insta-lean potion.



Then, I sent her straight to the park to meet a potential spouse!

All the men were unattractive, so Clove ended up wooing this young lady named Helena. This is a good excuse to test out the new patch that allows same-sex pregnancies.



After becoming an official couple, the girls took a selfie to commemorate the moment.



While Clove was proposing, the town hobo walked by (coincidentally, this is also the family maid which is weird) and he was smelly, so it made the proposal super unromantic. So, it's no wonder that Helena rejected Clove.

However, Helena did agree to move in.



Helena became magically skinny when she moved in. I decided to keep her hair though, because I just thought it was fitting.

Also, I couldn't help but getting the song "Helena" by My Chemical Romance stuck in my head the whole time I was playing her.



Now that they're living under the same roof, Helena and Clove spent lots of quality time together.



Soon after Helena moves in, Clove decides to propose to Helena again. This time, Helena accepts!



The couple wore matching dresses and eloped in front of a beautiful pink flower bush in front of the family home.



Their first woohoo was successful, and Clove is now pregnant!

I really like that you no longer have to use mods in order to get a same-sex pregnancy.



It's time for Daryl to become an elder! I'm quite fond of him, but maybe that's because he's the child of my wonder child.



He pretty much looks exactly the same, just with gray hair.

Normally, I would have aged Rue up at this point too since she's 10 days behind him, but I decided not to do that since Daryl has long-lived as a trait, this way they'll be together longer!



I wasn't at the home lot when it happened, but Daryl reached the top of his career path! Unfortunately, I did send him down the wrong branch of what I wanted, but anyway they have a new rocket!



After school one afternoon, Anise and Oregano came home and painted mood paintings.

Anise was sad, hence the butterfly in the spiderweb.

Oregano was angry and so he drew someone setting a house on fire. Okay then, remind me not to make him angry.



Soon Clove is going into labor with her miracle baby. Because let's face it, that's what it is since I have no idea how two woman could impregnate each other.



Meet baby boy Tarragon!



As is routine with spares children, he is aged up immediately. I decided to keep the clothes he had on but give him shoes that looked better.



He's really cute, but then again most children in this game are since they all look very similar most of the time.



Before Tarragon and his mothers left the house, he ran downstairs to take a selfie with his Grandma Rue.

Clove and Helena make an adorable couple, and I love the way Helena is looking at Clove here.

I'm sure they will live happily ever after!



Back at home, it's time for the twins to grow up! First up, we have Anise since she's the oldest.



She looks pretty much the same. She added dance machine to her list of traits.



Oregano is up next!



Our heir looks pretty much the same. He added evil to his list of traits giving him: squeamish, hot-headed, and evil.

I decided it would only be fitting if he took a job in the criminal career track.



Oregano invited his girlfriend Trinity over and had her age-up as well so they'd be the same age. Once she aged up, we invited her to move in!



Trinity has a good list of traits, hopefully this bodes well for her and Oregano's children.

It also works out that she and Oregano have the same aspiration so I complete it at the same time!



The couple headed down to Sylvan Glades for a romantic evening together, and Oregano proposed to her by the waterfall!



...then they started playing games on their phones. I guess old habits die hard.



After having them talk enough to establish BFF status, the couple were married next to the magical tree inside Sylvan Glades.



Such a beautiful wedding!

(said a bridesmaid to a waiter, oh what a shame the poor groomsbride is a....)

Seriously, I RARELY ever listed to MCR and Panic! At the Disco, yet for some reason they keep getting stuck in my head!



Back at home, Trinity finds out that she's pregnant!



Meanwhile, Anise is wooing a man named Enrique that she met at the park.



Things escalated quickly, and Anise finds out she's pregnant!



She immediately invites Enrique over and shares the news with him. He's ecstatic about becoming a parent and moves in.



I decided to keep his hair style as is, but changed his clothes.



He immediately proposes to his girlfriend, and Anise accepts!

(Also Rue is in the same outfit, sitting in the same spot that she was in when Clove proposed to Helena.)



The two eloped under the pretty tree with lanterns in the backyard.



Taking care of two pregnant sims, their spouses, and the parents, things get a little hectic, so not much happened in Trinity's second and third trimester.

I'm super excited to see the first eligible babies for generation seven!



It's a girl! Her name is Angelica!

I find it ironic that a lot of spice names are actually used for real life names for kids.



Anise loves spending time with her niece, because it gives her practice for when she becomes a Mom. Which, based on the size of her belly is going to be any day now!



Okay, so Oregano and Enrique are both squeamish which means they both get uncomfortable when they're around the fish tank.

Well, Oregano is also evil so in this case, his evil trait outweighs his squeamish trait, and he's happy because Enrique is miserable.



I can't believe it's already time for Rue to become an elder! I remember when she was just a child!



She got really wrinkly, and her make up looks terrible now, but otherwise she aged nicely.



I took off her eyeshadow and I gave her glasses to kind of mask some of the wrinkles. I also gave her a more age appropriate dress.



Time flies by and soon it's time for Anise to have her baby as well!



It's a boy! Meet baby boy Sumac!



He's so adorable! But those clothes are terrible!



He looks a lot like his Grandpa, don't you think?



"Hi Angelica! Isn't it weird how I was born after you, but now I'm older than you?!"

"WAAAAAHHHHH."

"Daaad I broke my cousin!"

"It's okay, she just needs to be fed."



After Enrique fed baby Angelica, he gathered up his wife and son and their things and they moved out and into this house by flubber32c4 on the gallery.



I have no doubt these guys will be happy! Enrique is a detective, and Anise is a stay at home Mom. They'll do just fine!



Speaking of mothers....Trinity is pregnant again!

This is where we're leaving the chapter though, so you'll have to stay tuned to see Oregano's reaction to the pregnancy and to meet the new addition(s) as well as see sweet baby Angelica grow up!
