Hello everyone and welcome back to Once Upon a Thyme! I apologize that it's been so long since my last chapter, things have been a little crazy here. I was studying a lot for an important test that I needed to take to get into the College of Education (which I did pass, and I did get accepted into USF's College of Education!)

You may remember from our last chapter that Oregano is the heir for generation six!

He has just completed his Rambunctious Scamp aspiration. Next, I chose Whiz Kid for him.



Oregano's older sister Clove has also completed her Rambunctious Scamp aspiration. Since she's already completed Whiz Kid and Social Butterfly is my least favorite, I chose Artistic Prodigy for her next aspiration.



Daryl has finally completed the Bodybuilder aspiration! I decided to give him Nerd Brain just like I did when I completed Bodybuilder for Judd because having the handy trait is really nice, but since you can only insta-upgrade once per day it seems to work best paired with long-lived.



Clove has finished her Artistic Prodigy aspiration, I gave her Social Butterfly since that's all that's left, however she won't have time to complete it.



A few short hours after completing her third aspiration, it was time for Clove to become a teenager!



Clove aged nicely, but she has an interesting mix of genetics.



Luckily, she's a really happy sim and started laughing about something random when she went to the mailbox.



I never knew this secret lot existed until I read a chapter of The Gregory Legacy by Taube. I decided now was as good a time as ever to investigate!



Unlike my friend, I got in on the first attempt with the questions.

Rue, however, didn't seem to be as excited about everything as me because she started playing video games on her phone the second the lot loaded.



I really like this lot. I may have to have a wedding here at some point in the legacy. I just think it would be really pretty.



I like the creepy effect of a "monster" watching you through the bushes. Does that make me weird?



Seriously, the lot is so pretty. I honestly spent several sim hours here just looking at the beauty before I sent Rue home.



Back at home, Daryl completed a nice wooden swan sculpture as a surprise for his wife. He displayed it in he and Rue's bedroom.



If you remember, Oregano's trait is squeamish. You'd think that he'd know by now that being around the fish tank grosses him out. But he doesn't. He constantly goes in that room to look at the fish and then makes these faces and gets an uncomfortable moodlet. Oh this trait is just so much fun!



I really haven't been working too hard on Anise's Social Butterfly aspiration, but she occasionally gets progress on it.

I've just completed it so many times I'm bored of it. I really hope that Maxis releases some new childhood aspirations, and soon!!



Oregano has completed his Whiz Kid aspiration. His next aspiration is Artistic Prodigy.



You know, with how large their driveway actually is, you'd think the sims wouldn't stand in the exact spot and create creepy morphs so frequently.



Out of curiosity, I decided to have Clove eat three grilled cheese back to back to get the Grilled Cheese aspiration. But then I remembered that it doesn't replace her current aspiration, so she'd have to choose it as an aspiration, so I decided to ignore it for now.



It's time for Rue's adult birthday! I still think she's one of the cutest sims!



She seems to agree with me as well.



One night when all the sims were sleeping, I happened to peek in on Oregano, and I caught him laughing in his sleep! It was cute, but also kind of creepy.



Why do you look so grim Rue?

"I had a long day at work."

But you got promoted to the very top, that should make you happy, not sad!

"Meh, I just want to go do yoga..."



Oregano has completed his aspiration of Artistic Prodigy, I gave him Social Butterfly but it's his birthday so he won't get very far.



I let Anise go up to the cake first since she's the eldest twin.



She looks so much like her older sister, don't you guys agree?



Before Anise could get a makeover, I sent Oregano to his cake!



Despite his poor choice in clothing, he aged nicely.

Of all the kids this generation, he definitely looks the most like his Mom.



Here we have Anise, who I was mean and neglected as a child. I seriously only completed her first tier of her aspiration. I guess that's why she's self assured, lol.



And we have Oregano, who added "hot-headed" to his list of lovely traits.



I really love this male shirt and I've been saving it for a potential male heir, so that's why Oregano got it!



As you can see, we had a lot of variety this generation.

Saffron definitely looks like his father, the girls have a good mix of both parents, and Oregano looks mostly like his mother.



Oregano must be pretty pleased with how he aged, because he took about five selfies after his make over.



Daryl has completed his Nerd Brain aspiration! Now he can repair and upgrade things throughout the house!



I decided to give this whole grilled cheese aspiration a shot, and so after eating three grilled cheeses, Daryl now has the grilled cheese aspiration.



I can't believe it's already time for the oldest child from generation six to become a young adult!



Saffron aged nicely, and I can't get over how much he looks his father!

Saffron added the romantic trait to his list of traits.



I sent Saffron to the park to meet a potential spouse, and I noticed the man wearing a jean shirt and underwear talking to Saffron's cousin Vanilla.



The best looking sim there was Ariana Mandragon, and she seemed to like Saffron pretty quickly. She accepted a flirt within like two or three interactions.



Shortly after accepting the rose, Ariana and Saffron are sharing their very first kiss.



Since things were going so well for him, Saffron decided to propose to Ariana.

Unfortunately, Ariana turned him down in front of a park full of people.

However, she did accept his invite to move in with him.



I'm really not sure her makeover did her much justice, but here it is anyway.



After flirting a bit, and allowing Ariana to get settled in, Saffron proposed to her again in a more romantic setting.



She accepted, and the two promptly eloped.

Ariana doesn't seem too pleased with Saffron's formal wear. (It looked nice on him as a teen, I forgot to change it pre-wedding.)



Daryl reached the split of the Astronaut career track. I forgot to note which branch he took, and I forgot to look to see which branch I was WANTING him to take. But, hey at least he's getting promoted.



Ariana is pregnant! Which means, even though her baby will be a spare, generation seven is coming!



She celebrated the news of getting pregnant by destroying the dollhouse in the playroom.

She got a moodlet from her hot-headed trait right after she found out she was pregnant, and it overpowered the happy moodlet somehow.



Anise has somehow set the stove on fire, despite the fact that there is a huge puddle of water from the broken sink.



Luckily, Saffron rushed in and saved his younger sister from dying in the fire.



I decided to send Oregano out for a bit and work on his Soulmate aspiration a little.

We ran into this legacy love named Trinity, and they hit it off really quick.



Once they arrived to their date venue, in typical teenage fashion, they pulled out their cellphones and started texting.



Meanwhile, back at home, Ariana is going into labor with her and Saffron's baby!



It's a girl! Meet baby girl Pepper!



Rue is very pleased to meet her first grandbaby, and I think she's even more pleased that she looks so good for being a Grandma!



Since she's a spare's child, I immediately age Pepper up!

She actually aged into cute clothes. I'm just gonna take that hat off and change her shoes...



...there much better!

She actually had this hair on under her hat, and I thought it was cute so I left it.



After Saffron got home from work, Pepper knew it was time for her and her parents to move out and get their own place so she quickly ran to give her Grandma Rue a big hug!
