Hello everyone and welcome back to Once Upon a Thyme! I still can't belive that this legacy is already over halfway done and it hasn't even been a month since I started it!
So far, I haven't really had that many problems with the ghosts or the graves. In my Cavanaugh legacy, the graves were a huge problem, but luckily, so far, things have been running pretty smoothly.
In fact, our ghosts are helpful. Juniper was so uncomfortable because of all the trash and dirty dishes that she started cleaning up the house.

Despite the fact that she just reached the top of the Author career, Sage came home looking awfully miserable. I don't believe that she had any negative moodlets either.

Since Rue's birthday is coming up, I sent her to the same park where her parents met so that she could scout for some possible spouses.
She didn't see anyone right away, but she did run into her cousin Chili and her Aunt Breanna. And if you look closely towards the right side of the picture you can see Parsley out for a run.

There was also an alien moonlighting as a homeless person. Which, I find strange.
Actually, the amount of aliens that are spawning as townies in my game is getting a little ridiculous. I may have to download a mod that slows down the generation of aliens as townies. Don't get me wrong, I love aliens as much as the next person, but I don't want elders and aliens being the only townies that generate.

Suddenly, two people from the cosplay club that generated after some of the original clubs disappeared due to deaths, showed up and started playing chess with Chili and Breanna while both dressed as Princess Leia.

We arrive back at home just in time for the daily royalties from Sage's books to be deposited into the family funds. This deposit completed her Fabulously Wealthy aspiration! I've finally completed it!
I chose Best Selling Author as her next aspiration since she already has her writing skill maxed, I figured that it made the most sense.
The family has a ton of money saved up now, and I really want to do something with it, but I have no idea what.

In case you hadn't guessed from the pictures at the park, I had Rue take a vacation day from school. Which worked out, because then she was able to celebrate her birthday at home earlier in the day rather than later.

As a young adult, Rue adds the romantic trait on to the list of traits she already has. As a reminder, those traits were gloomy and snob.

I apparently didn't get a picture, but Rue met Daryl Sawyer while she was at the park. Daryl is the son of my wonder child from when I played her in the Immigrant Challenge. Which, if you've read, you know that after the challenge was over, I aged him and his sister up in CAS and uploaded them as legacy loves since they have no skills or anything like that.

Anyway, Daryl and Rue get along fanastic and I think that they're definitely going to have adorable children.

They already had a decent relationship from when they met in the park, so of course it wasn't long before he moved into the family house.

Ironically, I had given him this aspiration because his father was Paolo Rocca, so I thought it would be fitting for him to follow in his father's footsteps even though he was just a child when the challenge ended.

These two are quickly trying to beat out Sage and Laurence for my favorite couple.
Daryl autonomously went over to kiss Rue's hand, and it was just so adorable.

"Rue, that was the best woohoo, and well only woohoo, I've ever had! Since I am an Astronaut, it only seems fitting that I should marry the beautiful woman who fufilled my dream of woohooing in a rocketship. Will you marry me, Rue Thyme?"
"Yes! Yes, of course I'll marry you Daryl! You were named after Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, how could I say no to you!"

I really did find it funny that when they got done with their rocket woohoo, Daryl didn't change out of his spacesuit but the first thing Rue did was take hers off.
He actually joined the family with a job in the Astronaut career, I forgot townies could take jobs. But I thought it was fitting because I was going to have him take it anyway, and then this all happened so it's perfect.

Guys, I finally threw a wedding party! It only took five generations, but I did it!
I'm using the lot "Love Blooms Wedding Venue" that was created by my friend Roxanne. You can download it from her gallery page 22Taube.

Rue's family could pretty much care less about her getting married.
For some reason, even though I clicked her as a guest, Rosemary didn't show up with the family so I had to click the icon to bring her here and then she left her everyday clothes on and proceeeded to take a selfie during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Laurence is watching Rosemary take selfies and I have no idea what Sage and Parsley are doing.

Despite the lack of enthusiasm from her family, Rue and Daryl had a lovely ceremony and are now husband and wife!

So even though I hired Cumin as the caterer for the wedding, I didn't think he'd actually remember to make a cake, so the family had brought one with them. Which is the one that they're gently feeding each other. But, if you look on the right you can see that Cumin also made a cake.

Rue does not look pleased by the fact that Cumin decided to serve pancakes as the meal for her wedding reception.

What do two newly weds do the second they arrive home from their wedding?
They go inside and play video games. How romantic.

After redirecting them, the couple went inside and woohoo'd. After their woohoo, Daryl ran off to work. But when he got home, Rue greeted him to tell him that she was pregnant! That's right, generation six is officially on the way!

Laurel is also a helpful ghost, and even though these plants weren't around when she was alive, since I had sold her plants when she completed her aspiration, she still waters them and sprays them for bugs. Which is nice, because for some reason the maid and the gardener both just randomly quit showing up for their duties and I have to call and rehire them.

This is the first time that I have seen a sim in TS4 fart. Laurence seemed a little surprised.
I saw Daryl fart right after, and I realized they were farting because they had just had 'beans and franks' for lunch.

I'm not really sure how, but Laurence has put on a LOT of weight. But, we'll deal with that later! Today is his birthday!

I originally thought about giving him a make-over, but I just couldn't find anything else that suited him as well as the combo he already has. Of course, he's in his pajamas now though.

Before he left for work, I had him drink a lean potion because I honestly have no idea where all that weight came from.

Despite the fact that Daryl is active and a Bodybuilder, I catch him falling and smacking his head on the treadmill about as frequently as a clumsy sim.

I guess you're officially a member of the Thyme family now that you've contracted what I can only assume is the sim version of Chicken Pox.
"I'm itchy. I'm miserable. Do not mock me."
I wasn't. But just ask your mother-in-law. Both her and her mother got this a lot.

I have Rue paint while waiting for the baby to be born, because the current tier of her aspiration requires her to become a parent and socialize with her child.

Daryl? Why do you need TWO things of ice-cream?
"Because I was getting ready to eat this cone, but then you directed me to eat and so I grabbed a bowl of it and I'm going to put my ice-cream cone on the half-wall ledge behind the couch."
You better clean that up mister.

Meanwhile, Rue is also eating some ice-cream. (I think this is why they're getting fat, I may have to delete their ice-cream maker.)
"Haleigh? I think this ice-cream is giving my baby a brain freeze! I suddenly have really weird cramps!"
That means you're in labor silly. Go take a nap, and in a few hours the baby will be born!

Sure enough, after a quick nap Rue heads into the nursery to give birth to the first baby of generation six! Well, the first eligible baby. Since technically Parsley's son is from the same generation, he's just a spare.
For the first time ever, someone is actually in the room to give Rue support while she's in labor. Though, he mostly just stood there and didn't really help.

"Have there always been dinosaurs, elephants, AND rabbits on the wallpaper in here?"
Laurence, your grandson was just born and you're concerned about the odd animal trio on the wallpaper?
"Oh, right. Hi little baby boy! Grandpa loves you more than the wallpaper, I promise."
His name is Saffron, Laurence. SAFFRON. He has a name.

Sage has completed a third aspiration!
Since we have a lot of things in the house that need upgraded, I decided to give her the Nerd Brain aspiration so she can repair them. Though, in hindsight, that would be better suited for Daryl when he completes his Bodybuilder aspiration and has the long-lived trait.

It's time for Rosemary to grow up and finally move out of the family house and live in the nice world of motherlode.

Rosemary added gloomy to her list of traits, making her the perfect art sim. Her traits are art lover, creative, and now gloomy.

Even though her birthday wasn't for several days, I wanted Sage to catch up to Laurence so I had her quickly celebrate her birthday.

I think we need to change her night clothes. We don't want her scaring her grandchildren after all.

I decided to ditch the ripped capris and converse and give her something that would look a little bit better for a sim of her age.

Now that aging is turned off and I have merged Rosemary with a random male sim, let's check in on her.
I believe this used to be the Goth household. I motherloded them so they would have enough money for it.

Soon, Rosemary and her future spouse, were sharing their very first kiss.
His name is Zachary Lee, and for some reason the insta-lean potion didn't work on him.

That's when I found out that the look we saw before was just a disguise because when I clicked the mirror I noticed that it said "Alter Disguise."
Sure enough, when I clicked him he was able to remove his disguise and revealed that he is actually an alien!

I tried to dress him according to his aspiration and traits, but it was a little difficult. Plus, I am getting a little tired of all the aliens. Parsley married an alien, and now so has Rosemary.

But, I'll admit, Zachary grew on me and I think he and Rosemary are a cute couple.
"Rosemary Thyme, I am sorry that I hid being an alien from you. But the fact that you still accepted me just the way I am made me fall even more in love with you. Will you marry me?"

Rosemary accepted his proposal of course, and they eloped right there.

It wasn't long before Rosemary found out that she was expecting their first child. She seems extremely ecstatic about it, doesn't she?

Despite his initial reaction, Zachary revealed he was thrilled about the prospect of raising a baby to wreak havoc on the town like he was going to be doing.
Rosemary does not seem amused by this prospect.

It wasn't long before Rosemary was going into labor!

She gave birth to a beautiful green baby girl named Vanilla. Which, I realize is kind of stretching the herbs and spices theme, but it did show up on my list of spices soo....

As is routine with the spares, I promptly aged Vanilla up to a child.

Unfortunately for Zachary, she rolled the gloomy trait just like her Mom, Aunt, and Grandpa.

Then they all shared a nice family breakfast. Which is where we are going to leave them.
That's where I'm also going to leave this chapter. Stay tuned to the next chapter to see how Saffron grows up and to meet his future siblings.
Also, my husband has finally published the first chapter of his first legacy. It's been posted at both SiMania and BoolProp. Look for: The Keel Legacy by Ashborn
