Hello everyone and welcome back to Once Upon a Thyme! In the last chapter, we left off right after the first baby of generation five had been born!

Cayenne has finally reached the level in the Tech Guru field where she can choose which path to go down. She chose E Sports Gamer.



Since Parsley to make her angry when he becomes a child, I had Cayenne build as high of a relationship as she could before it was time for him to become a child. That way they won't hate each other forever.



I didn't realize that you could add candles to the cakes that are from the Wellness skill, neat!

Oh, and it's Rashawn's elder birthday.



Looks like despite all the yoga and other things Rashawn did, he still put on some weight in his hips when he aged.



I decided to give Rashawn a shirt that fit his new age a little better. But it was hard because of all that weight he put on in his hips, they all looked strange on him.



The very next day was Coriander's YA birthday.



As a YA, Coriander added the trait 'jealous' to his list of traits. This now makes him a kleptomaniac, snob, and jealous.



Since the house was full, I decided to just combine Coriander with a random single female sim from the sim bin. So, everyone meet Kaitlynn Kimble!

Oh, I turned aging off so that nobody in the house would age while playing these guys.



The pair hit it off right away, and despite those HUGE ears, I think Kaitlynn is very pretty.



I decided to give Kaitlynn a hair that would cover her ears better, and wow she is so pretty. I love her.



Coriander and Kaitlynn live in a little two bedroom home in Windenberg. It came with the game.



It wasn't long before Kaitlynn found out she was expecting.



Coriander wanted to make an honest woman out of his girlfriend, and immediately proposed to her upon finding out about the pregnancy.



They even eloped shortly thereafter.



Soon, thanks to a cheat code, Kaitlynn was going into labor with their baby!

*Since they're spares, I decided to cheat to immediately send her into labor. But, in order to do that you must have them conceive naturally.



She gave birth to a baby girl named Wasabi that has her father's blue skin.



After moving her crib into the other bedroom, Wasabi was promptly aged up.



I decided to keep her in the clothes that she aged up into, but to just change the color of them.



I think this family is going to live happily ever after, don't you?



A few sim hours after turning aging back on, it was time for Parsley to become a child!

He celebrated by karate chopping is Mom right in the leg.



He's very adorable and I see a good deal of both of his parents in him.

Unfortunately, he got the 'mean' trait. Joy. But, on the bright side, he didn't get Social Butterfly as an aspiration!



I kept him in the shorts he grew up into and just changed the color. But, I felt that I should put the monster shirt on him since he's going to be a little monster.



Luckily, his needs were pretty full and so he was able to immediately get started on his aspiration.



"Don't let the creator full you, I'm just the sweetest kid that ever lived. I'm just honest and I like calling people names."

Look at him, trying to seem all innocent. Right after this picture he went over to the stuffed rabbit and started calling her names.



Sage is pregnant again, and I've noticed that even when a male sim reacts positively to the news, they initially start out by being upset about it.



This was one of those times. Laurence initially made the same face that all sims make when they're not "happy" about the pregnancy announcement, but then immediately cheered about it.



Her second pregnancy was a lot harder on her than the first, and she was often found sleeping at the bottom of the staircase.

On this specific occasion, I had sent her to her room to go to sleep, but she decided to cancel that and go downstairs to get coffee instead. Okay, make sense.



With the exception of Laurence, since he's practicing music, the whole family, with the added company of Judd, sat down and enjoyed a meal together on free will. This made me excited because I couldn't have gotten them to do this if I had tried.



It's time for Cayenne to join her husband in the world of elderhood.



"*yawn* Becoming an elder is hardwork, I think maybe I'll go take a nap."



After a quick nap, and some more conservative clothes, Cayenne looks much more ready to take on elderhood.



Laurence has now completed his aspiration of Musical Genius, I decided to give him Big Happy Family as his second aspiration.



I somehow didn't get a picture of her when she was in labor, but Sage gave birth to a baby girl named Rue!

I'm not going to lie, she's technically named after two things. The primary thing being of course the fact that it's an herb. It's used sparingly, especially as it has some major health side effects. But, I also chose it because of Rue from The Hunger Games. But, since this is an herbs and spices themed legacy, that's just a bonus to her name.



Why so happy Cayenne?

"Because I just completed my aspiration even though Sage only reached the split in her career path."

Okay, so why are you baking a cake?

"Oh, my youngest son is finally going to become a young adult and move out. I can't handle the possibility of having more than three grandchildren in this house, so just having Sage and her family here is enough."



After the cake was finished and candles were added, Cumin came up to his birthday cake.



As a young adult, Cumin adds "loves the outdoors" to his list of traits.



Following the same procedure as I did with Coriander, I turned aging of and merged Cumin with a random single female from the sim bin.

So everyone, meet Breanna Raymond.



The two hit it off right away, and I think it's fitting that he ended up with a maid since he has the 'neat' trait.



Her clothing choice wasn't terrible, so I simply changed her hair and gave her some make up.

I seriously have a problem with this winged eyeliner, I need to start putting something else on these guys lol.



Their house is a cute little starter home I downloaded from the gallery. The creator is ruthless_kk if you're interested in downloading it.



Even though it looks like she's rejecting him, she's not, and the couple were soon engaged.



They eloped soon after, and I feel like there should be an option to carry a sim through the threshold, wouldn't that be cute?!



Upon announcing her pregnancy, this is the look she got from Cumin. He doesn't seem very pleased, does he?



They had a baby girl named Chili! Unlike her cousin, she didn't get the blue skin.



However, she did get her mother's hot-headed trait, and she got to be the first sim for me to try out the CAS Details Enabler Mod on.



I didn't realize Breanna was sick until it was too late, but I'm sure she'll get over her illness fairly quickly and the trio will live happily ever after.



Back at the main lot, all the game settings have been turned back to regular and we find Cayenne autonomously socializing with her granddaughter. Of course, she doesn't hate babies, she only hates children, but it's still so out of character it would seem.



It's a good thing that Cayenne got some socializing in with Rue when she did, because she just became a child which means that Cayenne is going to get angry whenever she is in the same room as Rue or her brother.



Since the picture isn't as close up it's hard to see, but Rue does have freckles too! I'm loving this mod.

Thankfully, she also got an aspiration that was something other than Social Butterfly. She also got the trait 'gloomy' from her father.



I really like her leggings, aren't they so cute?



Parsley has completed his first aspiration and has now decided to become a rambunctious scamp!



Sage is also pregnant with the final baby of this generation, which means we will get to find out who is going to take over soon!



I couldn't get a picture of her telling Laurence, so I had her tell her Mom just out of curiousity of how she would react.

Naturally, since she hates children, Cayenne was not pleased about her daughter's news.

"You mean there are going to be MORE children running aroud here? It's already hard enough with Parsley and Rue running around!"



On the rare occasion that the dollhouse isn't broken, Rue gets to spend sometime playing dolls with her Mom.



I didn't know that things could catch on fire while being repaired.

The family's writing computer was broken, so I had sent Laurence over to repair it and it caught on fire! Luckily, he put it out in time and nobody was injured. They all just got a tense moodlet.



Parsley has completed the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration as well! I went ahead and gave him Whiz Kid since it's possible that I'll get a chance to finish that before his birthday.



Sage is finally going into labor with the last baby of generation five!



It's another baby girl, this one is named Rosemary.

I'll admit, I did use strawberries to conceive her because I felt like Rosemary, Parsely, and Rue just went well together.



With the last baby born, I put their names into my randomizing app and the name that was spit back out was Rue! Rue is going to be our heiress for generation five!

I'm really happy about this because she has the red hair, which was the whole reason I had chosen Laurence as Sage's spouse.

Ironically, it's yet another girl. We've had five generations of girls without it being a matriarchy.
