Hello everyone! After reading my friend Roxy's Wonder Child challenge, I have decided to give it a go myself! This chapter is going to be narrated by the mother of our wonderchild challenge!
As I approached the small L shaped home that was certain to change my life forever, I couldn't help but get anxious.
I wasn't getting any younger, and I wanted nothing more than to be a mother and a wife, but to have my marriage arranged by a group of strangers? That just sounded terrifying.

I guess it's time I introduce myself to any of you who happen to be reading or watching this.
My name is Olivia Fields and yesterday was my birthday. After becoming an adult and having no husband and no children, I was contacted by the government and offered me a remedy to my problem. I was reluctant to accept at first, because it sounded too good to be true. But as I looked around at my tiny apartment littered with take out boxes and dirty clothes, I decided that it was worth a shot.
I guess it's time to go inside and see where I will be spending the rest of my life. With any luck, maybe I will have arrived before the man the government has set me up with.
Aspiration: Successful Lineage
Aspiration Trait: Domestic
Traits: Cheerful, Family Oriented, Neat

When I entered the house, I was astonished at how empty it was. The only thing in the living room was a couch and some windows.
That's when my eyes met his, a handsome man with fiery red hair and a shirt the same color as mine.
He introduced himself as Ezra Sawyer, and it turns out we have a lot in common down to our favorite color both being mint.
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim
Aspiration Trait: Quick Learner
Traits: Genius, Geek, Perfectionist

I was amazed at how quickly Ezra and I got along. We talked for what seemed like only a few minutes, but turned out to be several hours!
After telling Ezra about how nervous I had been to enter the house, he stood up and wrapped his arms around me. He whispered in my ear, "I was nervous too, until I saw how beautiful you were."
I wanted to just kiss him right then and there. But, I had just met him. So I just smiled and went to cook us some dinner.

After a few days, the chemistry between us was so strong, I could no longer stop myself from giving into my desire to kiss him.

After we shared our kiss, Ezra told me how glad he was that I kissed him when I did because he had a date planned for us and now he didn't have to be anxious about kissing me whenever he wanted on the date.
And he did just that.
Throughout the date, he would grab me by my hips and just kiss me randomly. And every single time, I got butterflies.

Then, when I least expected it, Ezra said "Let's get married. Right here. Right now. I have already spent too much of my life without you as my wife, and I don't want to spend another day without being your husband."
And so we were married under a beautiful tree at the park.

We weren't sure how long it would take us to get pregnant, and to be honest we weren't really trying yet. We were just excited to woohoo together. After all, both of us had decided when we were young that we wanted to save ourselves for marriage.
It turns out, that I got pregnant the very first time that we shared an intimate woohoo together. I was so excited about being a Mom. I couldn't wait to give this child everything he or she could possibly want!

I feel like my pregnancy just flew by. Soon, I was in the hospital giving birth. I can't believe how big my stomach has gotten.
We never looked at the ultrasounds of our pregnancy, because we wanted to be surprised by the gender of our baby, so I was very anxious to find out if I would be having a little prince or a little princess.

But while I was daydreaming, the contractions got much stronger and it was time for me to go into the delivery room!
And that's when I met them. I was a mother to twins. I couldn't believe it. I've never loved anything more in my life. I named them Lily and Garrett.

Lily was born first, so that meant she was the one the government was interested in. At this point, Garrett existed purely to assist us in providing Lily with anything and everything she could possibly want.
I was sad that I would have to think of my son this way, after all I loved him just as much as I loved Lily. But, I signed a contract and the government is notorious for making people disappear when they don't do as they're asked.

Lily is a child now, I can't believe how time just flew by. I feel like it was only a few hours ago that I was in the hospital going into labor with her.
Childhood Aspiration: Artistic Prodigy
Childhood Trait: Creative
Since it's acceptable to age the infants up at any point, I decided to do it immediately. I wanted to waste no time in getting skilling and stuff started.

Since Garrett and Lily are twins, it was Garrett's birthday too. I feel so bad for my son, I hope he doesn't harbor any resentment towards his older sister.
Childhood Aspiration: Rambunctious Scamp
Childhood Trait: Goofball

Since my lovely daughter dreams of being an artistic prodigy, her father and I used some of our savings to buy her an activity table where she could work on her creativity skill and make beautiful drawings.

We even bought her a violin.
Garrett complained constantly about how horrible his sisters playing was, since she always played in their bedroom. I just assured him that it would be okay, and some nights I would sleep on the couch so he could sleep in the bed with his father without being kept awake by Lily's violin practice.

Lily soon achieved her desire of being an artistic prodigy and decided now there was nothing more she wanted in life than to be a rambunctious scamp and spend her days just playing with her brother, since that's what he wanted to do too.
I couldn't have been happier when I learned that she wanted to do something with her brother, this meant that Garrett may not have to spend his whole life in the shadows of his sister.

Ezra and I are elders now. I can't believe how fast time has been flying with our lives focused fully on Lily instead of ourselves.

I thought Lily was going to spend more time with Garrett, but unfortunately she wasn't. Garrett decided after he completed one of his goals of being a rambunctious scamp, that he wanted to be a social butterfly. He told me that maybe then he'd have people to talk to and friends other than his stuffed dinosaur.
It broke my heart that he felt so lonely, but Ezra and I were doing what we were contracted to do. I hope one day Garrett understands this.

Lily has completed another goal in life, I'm so proud of her. She decided that she too wanted to be a social butterfly now. But of course, her reasons for doing so were different than her brothers.

The twins' birthday arrived so quickly, Ezra and I were barely prepared. We threw them a birthday party, but unfortunately it wasn't a very good party.

Both of our babies are beautiful. Of course, they're not really babies anymore. I can't believe I'm a mother to two teenagers. How is this possible!?
Lily loved playing the violin so much as a child, she decided that she wants to be a musical genius!

She decided to try a new instrument first, and begged her father to buy her a brand new guitar! She was much better at this than she was at violin though.
She put on concerts for me whenever I was home.

But soon, she decided that she knew everything there was to know about guitar and got bored, so she switched back to violin.

To my amazement, Lily learned everything there was to know about violin as well and soon learned enough in everything to mentor her brother in guitar.
After a few hours of mentoring her brother, she came out and announced that she was a musical genius!
There's nothing in the rules about scoring for this, so I decided to go similarly to what was done for grades and top level job and give her points based on how many days until her birthday are left.

Unfortunately, the time has come for my husband and I to pass on into the next life. I can only hope that Lily is able to become all that she can and continue writing this out so the government has proof that we did the best we could.

Mom and Dad haven't even been gone a full day, and Garrett and I have already succeeded in almost burning the house down. Of course, as Mom informed us before she died, I'm the most important here and so I ran outside while Garrett took care of the fire, we didn't want to risk me dying and making all the work Mom and Dad did for nothing!

Life has been pretty boring without Mom and Dad around, I must admit. But Today Garrett and I are becoming young adults. I guess that means that whatever my Mom was contracted to do will be complete.
I wonder if this still means I am property of the government?

Regardless, I think I had a pretty great life growing up. So I will wrap up Mom's journal and send it in.

To Whom it May Concern:
My name is Lily Sawyer, and I am a wonder child. My parents, Olivia Fields-Sawyer and Ezra Sawyer did a successful job in raising me. I am proud to announce that they did everything that you asked of them.
Attached is a list of all my achievements.
Sincerely,
Lily Sawyer

And with that, I have completed the wonder child challenge! I didn't take very many pictures, because most of the time I had Lily working on skills so nothing too exciting happened. But I still enjoyed the challenge. And I really like how Lily turned out. I think I'm going to use her for something, but I'm not sure what.
