Welcome back to The Cavanaugh Legacy! When we left off last chapter, our heir was in the process of proposing to his girlfriend, Maia. Let's pick up right where we left off then, shall we?

"Maia, with your new hairstyle you are more beautiful than I ever imagined. Will you do me the honor of being my wife?"



"Oh, Cristopher! Of course I'll marry you!"



The couple wasted no time in having their wedding. Though, the guests weren't very exciting, they still got a gold medal on the event!



Not to mention, the ceremony was beautiful!



And to make it even more exciting, Maia announced her pregnancy right after they cut the cake!



Unfortunately that evening Chloe passed away. She never even got to meet her first Grandbaby.



I feel like the deaths in the sims four are a lot more depressing than previously. Though, the colors of the soul leaving the body are pretty.



Soon though, Maia was going into labor with the first baby of generation two!

*I decided to have Chloe be generation zero instead of counting her as the first generation like I usually do.



The first thing Maia does when she gets to the hospital is...

...'troll teh forums.'



Eventually though, the labor pains got bad enough that she changed into her hospital gown and went into the birthing room.



The doctor who was assisting with the birth was clearly new however because he took her heart out instead of the baby.



But finally after it was all over, Maia gave birth to a baby girl named Abigail.



I LOVE the breast feeding option! It makes the game a lot more realistic I think.



I assume that sims can get angry about their beds being sold in this version too? Because Chloe came to visit, and she's angry but I have no idea why.



I really hope that they patch in toddlers soon, because I'm really disappointed in the fact that they go from being an infant to a child. I mean, how realistic is it really that this child just jumps out of her crib one day like, "Okay I'm done being a pooping baby, I want to go to school."



Anyway, Abigail is now a child and she's really cute!

Her childhood trait is Loves the Outdoors. And her aspiration is Social Butterfly.



I have completed a collection, which has completed Cristopher's first aspiration. Since it looks like according to the rules after I've completed an aspiration I can choose whatever I want next, I decided to pick Freelance Botanist.



We got a cool plaque in the mail for completing a collection too, so that's always neat!



Chloe may not have had the chance to meet her granddaughter before she was born, but Chloe comes to visit her often now and they spend a lot of time just sitting on Abigail's bed and talking.



I love how the kids in this game automatically do their homework without me even having to tell them. I also like that the game automatically gives them homework when they grow up so that they have time to work on their grades a little bit before even going to school for the first time.



Maia and Cristopher are expecting their second child! Which means, so far, this generation is doing better than the first one.



OMG. THE BABY COWPLANT IS SO CUTE. ADFHADFH.



And now that it is fully grown, Cristopher has completed another aspiration. I picked Computer Whiz as his new aspiration.



Maia is trolling teh forums in the hospital, what could that mean?



If you guessed that she's in labor again, you're correct! It looks like trolling teh forums is a form of stress relief for Maia when she's in labor.



And it's a baby boy named Sheldon!

*I had just been watching a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory with my husband before I opened the game to play for a bit.



The family is doing pretty good financially and they now have a second floor to their home. It's completely empty, but at least the structure is there for now.



Abigail is so cute with her baby brother. Any time he cries, she runs into the room to see if he's okay. It's really cute. I wonder if she'll roll a family aspiration?



Sheldon is a child now, and he's really adorable. His childhood trait is evil and his aspiration is artistic prodigy.



I decided that I wanted one more kid this generation just to get a good variety, plus I'm hoping for a kid that doesn't have blonde hair. So Maia is now pregnant again!



Maia painted this confident painting and I just love it. It's so adorable. I would totally hang it in my house in real life.



So does anyone else have the problem where sims just randomly run out to the graves and mourn incessantly for no reason? Sheldon is constantly mourning either Cristopher or Chloe and then he gets all sad and doesn't want to do anything at all.



Abigail is now a teenager, and she's beautiful. I really like her. I even gave her a pink streak in her hair to match her clothes. Plus, I thought it was fitting with her aspiration.

Her randomly generated aspiration is Party Animal. Her current traits so far are:

• Gregarious (from aspiration)
• Loves the Outdoors
• Good
• Night Owl

Cristopher reached the point in the tech guru career where he had to pick a branch, and so that completes another aspiration for him. I picked nerd brain as his next aspiration.

With all these points, he's purchased a lot of new traits. So here is an updated list of his traits:

We now have an "inspiration" room for painting. This way we get better quality paintings from Maia.



Before Maia moved into the house, she became a young adult before Cristopher. Yet somehow, Cristopher became an adult before Maia.



Oh goodness, the 'prenatal panic' action is too funny!



And just like both times previous, the first thing Maia does when arriving at the hospital is troll teh forums.



During this birth, Cristopher actually came into the room. And he had a prenatal panic attack the whole time.



It's another baby boy, this one is named Flynn. Because I happened to think of one of my favorite Disney movies, Tangled, right around when he was born.



Now Maia has become an adult.



I have tried every single time one of the kids have grown up to get a picture of the crib with just the sparkles, and I never get it. This time, I'm able to get it but Maia's dang legs are taking away from the picture.



I really liked this hair and glasses combination on Flynn, I thought it was really cute.

Flynn's childhood trait is self assured and his aspiration is Whiz Kid.



Sheldon completed his first childhood aspiration, and I chose Whiz Kid as his second aspiration.



My husband has also been playing the sims four, and he really wanted the aquariums that come with Spa Day, so we purchased it! I haven't had too much time to explore it though because...



...I really wanted Outdoor Retreat.



The first thing the family did on their vacation was play horseshoes out back.



Then, Cristopher went exploring trying to find the hermits lot.



Luckily the hermit was there and he was able to be friend him and learn herbalism.

While on the lot, he caught all the fish from Outdoor Retreat as well as collected several different herbs and plants that he didn't have yet.



While exploring the world to try to find the remainder of the Outdoor Retreat plants, I randomly saw the grim reaper light a fireplace and just stand there. Okay then.



Sheldon celebrated his birthday while on vacation!



He actually makes a very handsome teenager!

His randomly generated aspiration is Chief of Mischief. His current traits so far are:

• Dastardly (from aspiration)
• Evil
• Mean
• Creatively Gifted

I had been exploring the world some more, and hanging out at the hermit's house learning more herbalism when the popup saying Abigal was becoming a young adult came up. So I ended up missing her birthday, which as you can tell she's really sad about.



Once back home, I decided to work on Abigail's aspiration a little bit and throw some parties. Maia, being the bookworm she is, decided to read a book throughout most of the house party.



Luckily, Flynn's birthday party (which was the next party Abigail threw) was a day or two after and she didn't spend her whole time reading!



Flynn is very handsome. I couldn't find his exact childhood hair and glasses so I gave him similar glasses and just decided to give him a haircut.

His randomly generated aspiration is Freelance Botanist. His current traits so far are:
